CADRe HOME DECISION PATHWAYS ROBUST COGNITIVE DECISION MAKING SOCIAL CONTEXT AND NARRATOLOGY SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE FOR SYSTEMS MODELING

Successful decision making begins with problem recognition and ends with the commitment to action, or a decision. Every decision process moves through a common set of phases between recognition and decision. In the case of complex problems, such as dynamic allocation and policy decisions for natural resources, each phase requires innovation and integration of new technologies to progress towards a robust final choice. The goal of research into decision support implementation is to move the decision process beyond the iterative phases of identification and development into the selection phase for either: A bargaining routine, such as a model mediated consensus session, or Aid development of science-based management alternatives that can     be presented to an authority for a definitive policy outcome
